Like a miracle, the construction facility left unnoticed by the Reaper forces and the spaceframe survived the war.
But the class construction delay due to the construction of the newer Vulture class Dreadnoughts (to surpass the Alliance Kilimanjaro Dreadnought) in 2184 which should compensate the losses at the Citadel battle.īuilding of the basic spaceframe of the Diatryma started in 2185 but with the beginning of the galaxy wide Reaper Attacks the turians abandon the prestige object to mass construct smaller ships which are faster to build for the war. The first plans of this ship was made during the Geth Conflict in 2183, showing shortcomings during the Battle of the Citadel. The Diatryma class is a unique starship and the turian pendant to the Asari Flagship Destiny Ascension or the Human Sagan class.
